MWJSharing scientific malariaresearch

Did you know that the majority of malaria researchers cannot just share their research data with their colleagues? They either have to pay to read publications or they have to pay to publish their results. Medical doctors and scientists, in malaria endemic ountries in Africa and Asia in particular, lose out because they simply cannot afford this.

We decided to do something about this.

The Dutch Malaria Foundation now publishes the first scientific ‘peer-reviewed’ journal on malaria where it is free to read and free to publish: the MalariaWorld Journal. We hereby allow any scientist in the world to share information and knowledge on malaria.

The Dutch Malaria Foundation creates opportunities for scientists and medical doctors anywhere in the world to join the fight against malaria as well informed professionals.

The MalariaWorld Journal is a joint project of the Dutch Malaria Foundation and the Radboud University Nijmegen. This project is sponsored by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research.
