Printed Mosquito Nets for Uganda

Printed mosquito nets provide better protection agains malaria than plain nets

One of the most effective ways to protect a child against malaria is to let it sleep under a mosquito net. If together we provide vulnerable children with a beautiful mosquito net, then the chance that they will die from malaria will reduce. In addition, a child who sleeps better and is sick less often does better at school. In Africa, malaria is the main cause of school absenteeism.

Fake Drugs Kill

Stop the trade in fake malaria drugs

Every 2 minutes a child dies of malaria. A disease that can be treated with good medicines. However, 1/3 of all malaria medicines sold in Africa are fake because criminals in China and India earn a lot of money from the illegal production of and trade in tablets consisting of, for example, lime or washing powder. The trade in fake medicines causes an unnecessary large number of deaths. That is why we are committed to inform and educate about this issue. View the 2 videos on the left about fake malaria drugs.
